Problems Logging In from Magic Link

We've changed the way that our login system works. Now when you register or login to SMASH, a six-digit code will be sent to your email address. Simply copy and paste this code into the login screen to get in. This should remove any login issues, but if you still face problems, do contact us through the chat box below.

Some users have reported problems logging in to SMASH from the ‘Magic Link’ email; the login page is blank or displays a ‘404 Page Not Found’ error. This could occur when you first sign-up or when logging in again. If you experience this problem, here are a few things to try:

If you are using your company/corporate email or laptop, you could try signing up again with your personal email and/or on your personal laptop. We’ve had a few cases where the security settings on corporate email services or devices prevent the magic sign-up links from working.
The magic links are single-use only, so possibly the first time you clicked on it, the page might not have launched or loaded correctly, and when you clicked it again, it displayed the error page. If so, try logging in again to receive a fresh magic link email.
The magic links also expire after 30 minutes. If so, try logging in again to receive a fresh magic link email.
Try logging in or signing-up again in your browser’s ‘incognito’ mode:
Open up an 'incognito' tab on your browser, and go to https://app.mysmash.media and sign-up

We've now made it a whole lot easier to find Call Outs and submit your project directly to Discoverers waiting to find talent and ideas!

Log in to SMASH, and click on your profile icon in the top-right of the screen. Select 'Call Outs'.
Look at the Call Outs on offer, click through for more details and select the one most relevant to your project.
Click on the 'Submit to Call Out' button. Select your Project, then select the relevant Snapshot. Finally, click 'Submit'!

Your Project Snapshot is now on it's way to both the SMASH Cupid as well as Discoverer. Cupid may get in touch if they have any comments or recommendations to improve your projects chances.

You'll receive feedback or any change to the status of your submission (e.g. 'tracking', 'rejected', 'let's talk' etc) by email.

SMASH Free, Pro, Enterprise and Legacy

On 21 Nov 2024, SMASH made changes to its pricing model and how its features are organised. We've introduced three tiers of service: Free, Pro and Enterprise. All users who joined before 21 Nov 2024 have been moved to a special tier called Legacy.

Legacy users will continue to have access to the features on the platform that they had before 21 Nov 2024. Nothing will happen to their project data, snapshots, or collaborators. No fees will be charged; they can continue to use SMASH for free. In the Profile page, a label will appear to indicate that they are a Legacy user. However, they will not get access to any new features that have been introduced as part of the Pro tier.

From 21 Nov 2024, new users of SMASH can select one of the three tiers of service:

SMASH Pro is a new paid service that includes all features currently available, plus all the new creator tools that we’ll be introducing over time, as well as exclusive offers from our media industry partners. As SMASH evolves, we’ll continue to add new features and offers to the Pro tier. Legacy users may upgrade to Pro at any time.

SMASH Free is a free version of SMASH that is free forever, but with certain limitations. SMASH Free is perfect for anyone who is a casual creator and does not need the advanced features of Pro. Free users can upgrade to Pro at anytime, and Pro users likewise can downgrade to Free.
